Little PSA
Hi everyone! Little PSA here: I'm not really comfortable with remixes/reboots/alternative endings/sequels etc with any of my fanwork-- I know I can't stop you, and I'm aware it's silly to get antsy when it's fanwork/AUs/not my characters, but it's just my feelings on it. I spoke about this in 2016, so it's not exactly new, I know. But similarly, if you come across one or people talking about my fanwork negatively on other sites-- please don't tell me. I really would rather not know. Please don't tag me, please don't send me messages about it, and please don't come to my defense if you see someone doing it. Just let it happen, and all of us can move on. I'm still kind of unpacking the weirdness of being that visible online in my early 20s and would really, really like to not go back there. I'm so grateful for everyone who has read and enjoyed anything I've made. When I hate my younger self, I read your comments, and was glad I was able to provide something like that. I really hope I get brave enough to do it again with my own original work soon. XOXOXO Lilly
Hey this goes for if someone is posting memes too. I know, I rather wish I didn’t.
The whole thing has really soured me to ever sharing fanwork again for any fandom. I’m shocked it’s still following me around after all this time— it’s a pretty stinging lesson about the internet being forever lol, I miss LiveJournal. Lock alllll those feelings from my early twenties RIGHT UP!
