i just know in my heart that mr arthur fox was the wife lover to ever love his wife. there's stuff like the line he says to henry in the bonus chapter, of course, but i don't even need that to know that this is a man who deeply loved and respected his wife. bro was walking around every day of his married life looking exactly like this:
and when asked in interviews how he felt about kissing other people in his movies, or how he made those movie kisses look so effortless and romantic, he'd probably respond (truthfully and with a blissful smile) "oh it's easy: i just imagine i'm kissing my wife."
