I've been hyping myself up to the idea of starting a monthly sticker club as a way for people to support my work and get something nice out of it. Before I dive right in though, I think it's a smart idea for me to ask just how many people would actually be interested in such a thing. Both so I can judge if it's worth the time to set it up and/or to prepare for how many people may sign up.

I know it's already a few months into the year, but I'm only now starting to feel like I'm in a place where I can try to focus on building up art merch to sell and a sticker club would be a fun way to start getting used to mailing things out while I'm still working on setting up an online shop.

Thank you to everyone who has been sending such kind messages, I promise I really do read them all, even if I can't reply, but while these messages are wonderful (and really. I mean it. just the nicest and most heartfelt things I've ever seen) the sad fact is they don't change my situation. But you can change it. You can help me.

If you know my situation, if you want to help me, please write to Glitch Productions. They are the only people who can, and I believe, might, be able and willing to save me. SMG4 has ignored me, even through a legal letter. I have no hope that they will do otherwise, but Glitch are a different case and I think they just genuinely don't know I exist. I have sent them a message, to no reply, but more messages means more of a chance they will notice. IF you are on twitter please message that way, I closed my account there years ago, and please be polite: I am not asking for hate, even if I've received it.

Even a short message will help. I need numbers, I need voices. My own voice is being drowned out, but you can speak for me as well.

Bedtime rambling.

I've been putting a lot of research and time into building up to start an online shop to sell art stuff. My new job has left me super tired so I've only been able to put in, like, 2 hours of drawing a day if I can even manage to find the energy for it. Slowly, but surely, I've been building up some sticker designs and product ideas that I'm really excited about.

I'm stressed though because I've got a loose 3 month goal to get these things finished and a shop launched. My hope is that it'll do well enough that I can cut back my hours at work a little bit so I have more time for art. I also worry about one of my items. I think it's a really unique thing and I fear that someone more established than me or some dropship asshole will snatch it and make money on my idea and work.

Ugh... I dunno. It's a lot juggling day job and creative work and all the worries that come with the modern internet being very unkind to artists. Hell, I had one of my personal art pieces slop copied today so... like, that doesn't help my worries at all.

Today's fun project was breaking open an old sunrise alarm clock to unplug the speaker because it was obnoxiously loud and there was no way to turn off the alarm sound. I do not do well with being woken abruptly.

I have to wake up at 5 am a lot lately, having a soft alarm light will help so much.

I'm disappointed to learn that tumblr has severely stunted the ability to fully customize your blogs like we used to be able to in the past. I attempted to add a new OC page with a separate theme from my main theme and was given an error that I wasn't allowed to use javascript in the code. I also attempted to edit a page that I already had added, but hidden on my blog and got the same error ;n; I did as the error message suggested and contacted tumblr support to request the ability to use custom themes on my blog pages, but from what I searched to learn what the error meant it doesn't seem like support really gets back to anyone that contacts them for the ability to use javascript themes so.... I guess I'll look into learning to make a personal site on nekoweb or neocities or something. I might as well and just consolidate all my junk there. I use carrd for my personal site currently, but making edits on it is suuuuuch a pain if you have multiple pages.
