...no I actually hate that. I hate the take of "oh we shouldn't be here, we're out of place in this world, we're awful, we make everything else awful too, we have NOTHING good to offer, and the only things who should be here are the non-sentient animals" because like. None of that is true. That sort of mentality leads to nihilism, self-hatred, and depression where there's absolutely no call for it. This goes for both real life and in-game. "Ohh the skykids aren't supposed to be here 💔💔💔" well. Megabird obviously thought they were. And like. Yeah idk we need to stop seeing ourselves as a curse on the existence of everything else. A lot can (and should!) be said about the need for eco-friendly practices and conservation efforts, but at the end of the day we *are* native to our world. We aren't aliens from somewhere else, we were created here and born here. We belong.
