and i for one LOVE when people take the obvious lack of french fluency to headcanon that shane was taught french for communication but not taught proper pronunciation bc that’s so endearing. and even more endearing that ilya would see him speaking his vaguely mangled french and be like “oh my god he’s so perfect 😩😠”

so now i’m thinking about (canonically) possessive as fuck ilya (who is so so sooooo jealous of rose landry) essentially goading shane into fucking him bc rose landry will NOT have shared a sexual experience with shane that he himself has not thank you very much. and the whole time they’re pursuing this ilya is acting like an absolute FREAK reminding shane that it would never feel as good as it does, even with these being the positions they don’t prefer, with anyone else. shane is conflicted bc he really doesn’t wanna think about his good female friend rose while he has gay sex with his boyfriend, especially New and Unfamiliar sex, but like. he’s also possessive as fuck. and this is also something nobody’s ever done for ilya before. so he’s a mess of conflicting feelings. and they fuck about it and continue to only do it this way like once every ten years when they get a new idea about how to convolute it
