this is kim namjoon, the 23 year old leader of the hugely successful and world renowned group bts. a group who are currently breaking so many records and making history in the process with all their incredible accomplishments, is praying/hoping right before winning their daesang at the golden disc awards for their album Love Yourself: Her

this is not the firs time, we also saw them crossing their fingers during the billboard music awards, an award show they were invited to, for an award that they were almost guaranteed to win 

the fact that he still feels like winning an award such as this is impossible or out of reach after everything they have achieved is a reminder how humble he and his members truly are, even after all this success. and that they do not take anything for granted or expect things to be handed to them. they have always worked hard, and will continue to work hard so that they are truly deserving of every ounce of recognition they receive
