I figured we need a masterpost of some of the best weird, cool skulls out there for all the bone collectors. So here are some of my favorites:

Added another look to the Thorin costume collection from over the years. I still have some things yet to finish on the Golden armor and Ravenhill looks, but they’re slowly coming together. These are more-or-less the ‘main looks’ for Thorin throughout the films but I have variations of each of these as well, due to the Dwarves having so many stinkin’ layers. XD All costumes and prosthetic/makeup are created and applied by myself and it goes with a heaping amount of trial and error and some help from good company.

Hello!

This week end I was at MCM London Comic Con and I had an amazing time there! Lot of people praised my and ELK’s table, I was feeling so happy ;A; A big thank you to every visitors who came by and said hi!!

We had really nice neighbours: @keekal and @kataraqui, and of course we enjoyed once again the company of @threadsartbook fellows: Tea  and @kitjoyuki and her brother! I had also met @thedutchesse who’s table was in front of us. :3

I started following their social media accounts in the past 12 months and they all totally impressed me with their talent, sassiness, beauty, humor, dedication and kindness! 

Gosh I could write a whole list with tons of reasons why I admire each of them.

Well, I started going to these FedCon GmbH conventions in 2005 and HobbitCon DREI was my 21st. So I already met a couple of actors and artists I really like/love/admire.

But going to these cosplayers and talking to them was such a huge obstacle because standing next to them and talking to them made me feel like Drew Barrymore in “Never been kissed” talking to the “cool kids” at school. And then they have been so nice and kind and sweet and I really felt like a little fangirl.

The first day I even crosssed their paths a couple of times and was too shy to go them and say hi. And those who know me would never characterize me as a shy person^^
