How can someone not love the Life and Death Brigade?
I was actually a bit shocked when I found out that there are people who dislike the LDB. When I thought about I (think I) got the point:
they are white, spoiler, rich kids who are not afraid to show others that they got money
they are true troublemakers and for someone who wants to focus on something it must be nerve wrecking, when they destroy their plans like when they disturbed Rory’s class fot their little jealousy fight and Finn dressed as police man
they are the kind of friends you can call late at night to pick you up naked in another continent without asking questions
they care! Making parties and organising weird events for someone who needs a cheer up or who needs some distraction is lovely. We all know that situation when our mood is done and we got that one friend that makes us smile. They knew Rory was in a damn bad mood and they came to cheer her up all the way from whereever they’ve been. And they also care for each other, like it was Logan’s turn to walk Finn
they are smart! Oh these dialogues! You can not simply have that kind of dialogues when you are stupid af. I still wonder how Finn and Colin passed Yale cause they seem to be pretty lazy. But they are damn smart and clever. And having a good graduation doesn’t make you a smart person
they are entertaining! When everything went down with Luke & Lorelai and the April story they were the reason I kept watching. Oh I just love the Coling & Finn scenes so much.
They were my great highlight of the whole revival, not actually what they did but that they came to cheer up and they were actually sad when Rory left.
