Nancy: And be sure to check out my scrapbook. I put memorabilia from all my past cases in there. A lot of them were pretty dangerous– and at times, really scary– but don’t say any of that to my dad, okay? He worries about me enough as it is.

Blahunka was really like “yeah this game is about everlasting grief, strained family relationships and inherited trauma, mental health and the importance of having familial support, the parallel between modern capitalists and post-Civil War slavery, benefitting from slavery and exploitation even generations later, the need to earn a place in a family even when it should be your birthright, carefully crafted public personas versus reality, and possibly incest as well 😊”
