I'm sure you're all bound to have lots of questions, so below here's a brief FAQ about this new venture;
FAQ;
Q: When did this happen???
A: Netflix approached us back during the early days of episode 4's production after watching the eps progress. They wanted to congratulate us on reaching ep 3 and commenting on how rapidly we've improved and what motivated us to keep going. They kept an eye on our progress since and once they saw ep 5, they reached out in December 2025 to offer us a licensing deal for the first 5 eps. That deal was cemented in March 2026.
Q: So is this why ep 6 has taken so long?
A: Yes and No. We did have to divert Matt, Ockeroid, Rigsby and myself over to Eps 1-5 to get them up to NETFLIX's broadcast standards which took around 8-12 weeks of non-stop work. However if we didn't take the deal we'd still be in a worse place in terms of ep 6 funding and progress. Most of the licensing money went into getting ep 6 finished this year. Without it, we would be going well into 2027.
Q: Is the new intro sequence gonna be in the eps from now on???
A: Only for the Netflix versions, as they have exclusive rights to it. The regular Youtube / Patreon release will have our usual wrench glass smashy intro still.
Q: Will the Alternate language tracks come over to the Youtube Versions???
A: No, those are exclusive to Netflix.
Q: So this is just a licensing deal?
A: For now, yes! The first 5 eps will be on the NETFLIX service August 19th.
Q: What does that mean for the future? Is there a chance you'll get picked up???
A: The future is still uncertain, but it looks a lot brighter than it did before. NETFLIX allowed us to have promotions to our patreon in the end credits of each episode, something they don't usually do, so people who watch the eps on NETFLIX will have the chance to come over here and support us directly.
As for getting picked up, there is a chance, but it's all at the behest of NETFLIX if the first 5 eps do well on the service.
Q: What would going exclusive mean???
A: Basically, IF we go exclusive, NETFLIX would get exclusive rights to eps 7-10 for season one and beyond. We'd have to suspend the patreon (everything would still be available, there's just be no more updates) and fourthwall store (NETFLIX would get exclusive merch rights) and stop youtube uploads.
If they decide to cancel our exclusivity, then we're back to doing what we are currently doing; using patreon and fourthwall to fund ep production.
Q: What if they want Ep 6 as well to go exclusive???
A: In that scenario we've worked out a plain that those who have supported us financially for it's production will still get to see it on here and for Youtube Members.
Q: Would Eps 1-5 still be free to watch on Youtube?
A: Yes, the original 5 will still available to view on Youtube for freeeee, even if we go exclusive.
Q: So no more fourthwall store if you go exclusive???
A: Yup! NETFLIX gets full merch rights, though we'd get a 35% cut of all sales, so pretty much what it's like now but with someone else managing it which would be a massive load of my already extensive plate of things to do, and with NETFLIX's resources there's be so many more options for neat stuff to be made... vinyl figures for instance~?
Q: I thought you said you didn't want to go with a network / Streaming service?
A: I did, but unfortunately times and minds change. We're 6 years into this production and only have (almost) 6 eps done. Our funding isn't growing, merch isn't selling that well and I'm really starting to feel my age. Potentially getting picked up exclusively by NETFLIX will get us Budgets we could only dream of doing it indie, and if it gets this series made before I turn 45, then so be it!
Q: So, when Ep 6???
A: When it's done! (Maybe late September, early October)
I'm so sorry for putting this in Julius's tag. Julius is somewhat connected to this person, and I'll mention it later.
This should be the last time I post about this person. I finally decided to write one about this.
Strictly speaking, things have come to an end...I've also gotten back into my own life and am no longer affected by this person.I'm writing this mainly to remind some people who used to be her followers. Don't try to get in touch with her and always be careful about who you choose to follow!

...Komi is a jerk in relationships, and every one of her friends hates her finally.
She doesn't value what we do and has hurt a lot of us.
For example, she has really serious vanity. When we talk about painting or other things, she always brags about herself.

"She knew I was good at drawing illustrations, so she specifically criticized my animation skills."
Besides, she really doesn't care about how her friends feel. She engaged in very serious sexual harassment.

Notes: There are just too many messages about sexual harassment, so I only picked one. The victims include both teenagers and adults.
She also has paranoia issues. After she broke up with her friend, she sent a bunch of personal attacks every day to insult that person.

Notes: She posted all the personal attacks on that person in group chats.
The rest is about me personally.
I'm the one who was forced into a relationship with her...During that time, I had no idea that I was aro-ace. At the time, I just thought I wasn't cut out for a romantic relationship.
But she insisted on having this kind of relationship with me. This was basically just an excuse for her to harass and pester me.
At first she said she really liked me, but then later she said it was all a lie. And flatly denied the fact that she sexually harassed me.

She said these are all jokes, but is it really funny? Obviously not.
There's another piece of evidence that proves she lied about her feelings for me.
...She has LGBTQ+ phobia.

Yes, she has a sense of superiority about her heterosexuality. And she's biased against lesbians and transgender people.
That's also why she referred to me as her boyfriend and used he/him instead of they/them in her post. She doesn't really accept that I'm non-binary.
Part2_Julius the cat
Why create a separate branch for Julius?
You might see her say that she's Julius' number one fan and how much she's contributed.
But is that really the case? Let's take a look at the victims' testimonies.

As you can see, Komi didn't really end up liking Julius. She likes to use him to compare herself to others.
Of course, there's also her comments about his NSFW stuff.

This message might leave you completely confused - it involves some stuff from the part 3. Basically, she claimed he got in touch with Turing and Julius through some means, which turned out to be false, but in the meantime she spread a lot of malicious rumors about Julius.
Part 3_Schizophrenia and religion
There's just too much and too complicated stuff in this part, so I'm not going to show it anymore. I want to go over it briefly and make sure everyone understands what's actually going on.
It all started in January this year when she got me and another of her friends involved in some ridiculous drama. Long story short, she thinks she's some kind of savior, has some mystical connections with religion, often claims she's being possessed, and even spreads rumors about her other friendss. In the end, the whole thing ended with us completely cutting her off and exposing her, and to this day she still doesn't dare face us.
The topic shifted to schizophrenia - why do we say she has it?
Because she had made a lot of suspicious statements before this. For example, describing her hallucinations and delusions - if those are true, then we'd guess she's likely a genuine schizophrenia patient, she just doesn't want to admit it.
This also serves as a reminder to be wary of those who try to use his illness as an excuse to hurt you, and to pay attention to your friends' physical and mental health.

So, a lot of you are already aware of this, but what seems to be an unpleasent anon is on the lose in the MW fandom on tumblr asking for art of MW characters, as far as I know only the girls, primarily of them in outfits from other shows. The asks can sometimes diverge from this but this seems to be their MO.
Below are the two asks I received that seem to be them, one asking for art of my own oc (which I did do in good faith before knowing about any of this) and the other where I simply replied that I don't do requests and to look somewhere else.
A ton of other artists drawing MW have received asks similar to this, which is why a lot of us thinks it's the same person. They seem to pick artists at random and increase their efforts with asking certain people if they seem to relent or don't reply to them right away.
What is particularly unpleasent about them is that they seem very aware of what they are doing, how it's unpleasent and creepy, and are doing it anyway. If you get asks like this requesting art it is reccomended that you either block them or turn off anon entirely.
Remember, you never owe anyone free art for any reason, and if someone is making you uncomfortable? Yeet that sucker!
