Shit man, this mech war is fucked. I just saw a doll shoulder its rifle and say "reality warp: black hole star" or some similar shit, and every mech around it cratered, radiated a ring of pure energy, and disappeared. The camera didn't even go onto it, that's how common shit like this is. My ass is firing anti-personnel rounds and buckshot. I think I just heard "nanomachines: skewer" two groups over. The Balor is a monster.

To understand why you need to understand what the Balor is.

It isn't a mech.

It's a walking sandstorm that will rip apart anyone and anything to make more of itself that is capable of going through any hole the "cockpit" will fit through.

Many call it the most terrifying mech one can face, and not without reason. as it can literally pretend to be any other mech, and you wouldn't notice before it's too late and the graywashing has begun.

But I find another mech more terrifying.

Your reactors can't fully react non-fuel materials! This means you get mixed-element tar and soot buildup in incredibly delicate outlet manifolds! Not only are these a pain in the ass to clean, because the atoms in the foreign object debris react unpredictably, there's no telling what kind of toxic elements you'll end up with! It's a PPE nightmare!
