yeah that tends to happen when you remove characters from media. without characters its all just background. i guess movies set in scenic locations would still land as kinda nature docs but even then

It should 100% be illegal for companies to make you give them your payment information when you sign up for a free trial version of their product. It is not necessary and there is no good fucking reason for them to do it. It’s blatantly just so they can steal forgetful customers’ money.

I have never signed up for a free trial without counting out the days and putting an alarm in my agenda to cancel the trial a day before it rolls into a paid thing

most subscriptions including trials continue to give you access till the end of the subscription/trial period even if you cancel it. so I always sign up and then immediately cancel it, retaining access till the end of the period but with no risk of it auto-renewing.
