the tim&cass&steph friendship being presented as the legacy babs&bruce&dick friendship is so beautiful but personally i think the nonlinearity of it makes it SO much more stronger because it shows how important they all are to each other (if that makes sense? -- like if it was as easy as robin: dick->tim, batgirl: babs->cass etc etc it would be so much less representative of how interconnected their legacies and relationships are)
steph's childhood hero being batman (even at her funeral her mom reiterates how she'd wanted to be just like batman) & tim's childhood hero being robin (specifically. dick grayson) & cass's (childhood) hero being batgirl (in shadow of the batgirl)
tim (during no man's land) & cass (pretty much any time after that & before the evil new 52 reboot) being considered the contender(s) for the Next Batman (and damion scott in solo revealing he wanted them to take the mantle on together)
cass & bruce being mentors but also best friends to steph & dick
tim & cass being called "bludhaven's dynamic duo" when before that, "dynamic duo" was mostly used for batman & robin while in the past, "dynamite duo" meant batgirl and robin
cass & bruce telling steph & bruce "you SAVED me" & the general hallucinations cass & bruce have of steph & dick when they're dying
babs comparing tim's passion for tech to hers while bruce compares tim's personality to his own MEANWHILE bruce compares steph's personality to dick while dick compares steph's drive to babs
dick & cass having the most similar reaction to bruce's trial in bruce wayne: murderer?/fugitive and punishing themselves for (briefly) doubting his innocence while babs & tim are more analytical with it and look at evidence
steph's jealousy (as spoiler) that cass & tim are in the bat-club while she'll never be included and has to work twice as hard as them mirroring how babs used to be treated as an outsider when she was batgirl
cass's logo (black bat + yellow outline) being a mix of bruce's (black bat + yellow outside) and barbara's (yellow bat) while steph's is more staunchly batgirl (yellow bat)
