Groups of bad people actively rely on your hatred to make themselves look like the victim, to convince other people who may have been on the fence to join their side

You sending somebody anon hate will not make the world a better place - all it will do is give shitty people ammo to prove their point. It’s not gonna convince them they’re wrong and you’re right - it’s just gonna make them double down and then go, “See!! I knew I was right all along, look how mean these people I hate are being to me! That’s why we should hate them!”

It's the same energy as "video games make people violent 😡". Doing bad stuff in a game doesn't make people do bad things in real life. The majority of people are able to see the difference between fiction and reality.

Hogwarts Legacy isn't the only work of fiction that has slavery in it and allows you to kill people. Of course, such things are not correct, but fiction shouldn't hold your hand and explicitly tell you that such things are bad. We all can figure that out on our own.
