I do really hate the way furry twitter took the tadc finale as a reason to start making tons of jax pinups or porn. I guess it's no different from how the internet treats every popular cartoon character. But like damn, have some respect for a tragic character? It's the refusing to engage with the tragedy and just consuming the same syrup as always

Saw someones cosplay pinups of Reze chainsawman in a wedding dress and it made me feel the same way. It didn't read like "dreaming of a happy ending despite the horrors" it read like an anime dork refusing to look at the sad feelings and wanting out-of-character domestic waifu fantasy instead. almost as bad as the people who want to dominate Makima

My partner is a game designer. He crafts experiences intended to elicit specific behaviors from thousands of strangers as his full time job. He often looks at social structures from this perspective in his free time and we talk about it a lot. and hoo boy are a lot of our systems not doing what they are officially meant to do.
