Happy birthday. 

Look at us, with a five year tradition! Five years! That’s a whole child, that’s a child that can (maybe) read and that can sing, dance and perform (badly, i suppose).

As I always say in our letters (or at least, I think I do), it's insane to think how completely different our lives are from where we were when we started this. And how, at the same time, it feels like child's play that we started last week. We're still 15 and we don't even know what it's like to work in a cubicle.

I feel that this year we conversed so little. I miss you. Your presence - although it has never been physical, but something close to spiritual - is synonymous to a haven (i can only hope my presence brings you a similar sentiment).

I know that your life changed a lot this past year. I wanted to help but I understood that from here (this side of the world) I couldn't do much. I know some people tho, I can ask them to bomb that restaurant if you want. Fr fr.

In seriousness though, I often find myself drowned in solitude,. Sometimes I'm glad of it, oftentimes it terrifies me.  I almost wholeheartedly believe that it's too far gone now, I am incapable of human relation. But when I think of you I'm not lonely anymore.

I hope I can be that to you, too. Know that while I'm alive you are never alone.

Last time we wrote these letters we said a twink would find them after the world ended and declare us lovers. Well. The world is ending as we speak. Death and despair are on their way. The twink is being born as you read this. I hope they let Brazil win the World Cup first (( by the way, can one truly not walk to the Met Stadium? ))

Nevertheless, while the world doesn't end officially: I think we should meet for coffee, maybe do a crossword puzzle. Maybe we meet for drinks and karaoke. How good are you in poker?

I feel like we haven't talked enough. Better yet -- I have not bothered you enough, with audios and explanations and gossip. So, perhaps too publically, I will rank a top 10 things i want to tell you right now!

I saw the He-Man movie and the Sheep Detective movie! Both very fun!

Leo also hates the blond demon (that stars in both of these movies) you two have that much in common!

Both of my siblings are wearing braces!!! WHAT. who allowed them to have teeth. my sister menstruates! kill the passage of time with a very long sword! I do not want it around anymore

Olivia became a katseye fan. sigh

Two BBB winners (1st season winner and 24th season winner) Had A Fight As In A Physical Fight UFC in a Physical Fighting Event and I (me!!!!) covered it !! for work !! it was the time to be alive tho the fights were awful

i dont even know how to describe them but you'd find them funny. (oomf said The Baby (as he is called popularly) is cosplaying Christ the Redemer and yeah)

7. I've been looking everywhere for postcards to send you, apparently people hate selling cool things

I presented my thesis draft yesterday and the professor who reviewed it said i cannot do MLA and he can clearly see i didn't even try to ask AI to do it from how wrong it is ( :( ) but i write really well and should pursue a masters degree and also said he needs me to get my shit together next semester so that I can get an A in my thesis because he wants to put in college library and make his students read it ... welp!

9. one of my coworkers is a 19 year old who is obsessed with sporting bets and...table rpg! you'd love him.

10. I've just entered a bookclub from the bookstore near my house but all the books they read are so boring and last night we could vote on which book we wanted to read for the first time ever and between Rosemary's Baby and Phantom of the Opera they chose....dorian gray. i hate it here fr fr

I hope this tradition lasts forever. That we are writing letters until we are 80.
