spoilers incoming for the pitt (tw - suicide/suicidal ideation) jack abbot literally started s1 standing on the roof of the hospital ready to jump. ik he seemed more mentally sound in s2 but ive got a sinking feeling (and perhaps an unhinged theory) that everyone is so focussed on robby that he falls through the cracks. ive seen people say that they think shawnyhats will be killed off for all sorts of reasons - many of them very outlandish - but what if they do to make a point that it's not always the people you're worried about who take their own lives... like i said it's an unhinged theory but perhaps that shows my mental state ✨

Constellations (A Rabbot Fic)

After a difficult day at the Pitt where they had to navigate another major catastrophe, Robby finds Jack on the roof on the right side of the railing, but with an ultimatum that knocks the wind out of his sails. Robby has to work out what he can do to stop the one thing that really matters to him from derailing.

“I can’t keep doing this…” Jack says quietly.

“Doing what?”

The night shift attending makes a small, tired motion between them, one finger wagging vaguely in the cold air. “This. It’s not fair man.”
