Am I the only one who strongly believes that the main reason for Phob being into the revolution to begin with is his understanding that in the world as it is his relationship with the prince is utterly impossible. In this old world Phob would never be more than a servant. He would never be on an equal footing with the prince. At least not in the eyes of society. So what is Phob's answer to this unsolvable problem? He burns down society as it was. With all the inequalities. And in this new world that he is creating right now with the revolution Tin won't be the sky anymore. Phob wouldn't be the dirt. They would both be simply humans.
So the issue of Phob betraying Tin is actually a bit different in my opinion. To betray Tin is neccessary to enable a future in which both of them can be together. So in Phob's mind there is just no other way. And Tin will understand once he knows everything. Phob is of course also worried deep down that Tin might not feel the same when burning down society means pretty much taking all his family's power. But in the end... Phob is a man on a mission. He needs to world to change so that he and Tin can have a future.
"How do you expect me to forget you?"
The Edge of Horizon Ep. 6
"You can just kill me."
The Edge of Horizon Ep. 6
Thats how deep Tins feelings are going. His love for Phob is so ingrained in every fibre of his being that the only way you could make him forget Phob is by making his heart stop beating. Because otherwise every beat of his heart, every breath Tins take... he will love Phob. Just as simple as that.
I've seen quite a few people say that Phob betraying Tin would be unforgivable and that would be a red flag. And idk maybe I'm crazy but I feel like a revolution would be the one great reason to betray someone in the royal family, no matter how much you love them, especially if he's successful
People seem to forget that Phob believes the revolution is gonna be good for every one. The plan is not to kill the entire royal family. They just want change quicker. I am sure that Phob whole heartedly believes that the revolution is gonna set Tin free as well. To allow him to leave his own royal shackles. This is not just about the good for the people. This is also for the good of Tin.

Tay and New could read the phone book to me and I would be smiling like a besotted idiot being entertained to no end.
This is what brought me to thai BL. This kind of chemistry and connection.
pet peeve is when you look up fashion references from a specific era and you keep getting modern day '[era]-inspired' fashion like NO i want authenticity damn it. i can see your 2020 photo quality and your 2020 hair and your 2020 makeup. youre not fooling me.
hello i'm a historical fashion researcher and i have a lot of experience looking up things! this is a very widely experienced irritation and you're definitely not alone in this, but i am here to share everything i know!
so, ways to get around this:
turn off AI results. they're literally nonsense to us
don't use pinterest because the sources/provenance is often hard to trace
a standard internet search can be okay, but museum collections are the top tier (list of collections below this list)
instead of broad terms like victorian, regency, tudor, renaissance etc. try using the decade you're looking for. if you're not sure of what decade it is but have a vague image in your head, look on the fashion history timeline and just jump around until you find it. but even changing to e.g. 19th century will give better results than victorian
including terms like womenswear/menswear, daywear, formal wear, evening wear, court dress should increase the value of your search too
including "fashion plates" in your search can give you a nice impression of the intended silhouettes of the era. some of these might be a little stylised but will show you what was considered in vogue
for pre-fashion plate eras or things like makeup and styling, you'll have to look at portraiture or manuscripts. these are harder to actually find what you're looking for, but searching museum collections and limiting results to specific date ranges will be your friend
when looking at art, do bear in mind sometimes artists would paint fabric extra flow-y to show off their skills. it might not have been exactly like that in terms of fabric weight or drape. so, a pinch of salt required!
if you find something on image search where the provenance is dubious, reverse image search and you might find a source! i've been able to trace random pinterest images to real sources, but this does take a lot of time and effort and is often not worth the headache
some online resources and museum collections:
fashion history timeline is an invaluable resource if you're trying to get a feel for everything and should be your first port of call. it'll also link to good examples
the met has a vast number of extant examples of clothing, as well as fashion plates
costume institute fashion plates is a subcollection of the met for fashion plates (1800s-1922)
v&a also has many extant garments, fashion plates, and incredible articles on clothing and aesthetics. read the details of the objects because they'll often reveal a lot about the piece
lacma is good for C19th-20th pieces
nypl digital collection for photographs
national portrait gallery or similar for portraiture, or literally any museum in your country that has historical art
national museums scotland can be useful situationally but might be oddly specific
stout style history is a great collection for finding image references for fat people wearing historical clothes. survival bias of a lot of museum pieces tends towards smaller clothing that couldn't be repurposed, but this aims to counter that. it's not sortable, but is still a really nice resource
wikimedia commons is surprisingly handy! and the images, if you should need to link/repost them, are public domain
auction websites sound like a funny one to recommend. some won't have mannequins and some will. just look up historical garment auctions and you'll find some!
anyway, i hope this has been a good place to start for anyone interested! there are probably some i've missed because there are so many museums across the world and i don't know about all of them or can't remember them. but these are the ones i've used the most! (my specialisation/jobs i've had to research for have only really been in western fashion, so my resources reflect that)
A large part of the reason families were bigger in the past was because marital rape was not considered rape and birth control/abortion methods were ineffective, dangerous and/or illegal. We can dance around this and act like our great great great grandmothers just loveddddd being mamas so much that they decided out of their own free will to have 11 children. We can pretend that they DECIDED to have big families because it was a financially advantageous decision so they could have more labor around the farm. But a lot of children in the past were fundamentally unwanted and not conceived out of love, children were not a choice women got to make. We need to admit that and stop pretending historical women were inherently more maternal because they were impregnated at the age of 15 and kept having babies until they were 40. That did not make them loving mothers, it did not make them ‘the divine feminine’ and it sure did not make them happy.
Either you're completely worthless to him, or you're everything.

This has devastated me beyond belief.... 😳😭😭😭
You know what time it is.
🚨Rant incoming 🚨
Love You Teacher is being marketed as a soft romance… but if you look closer, it feels more like a quiet, devastating study on what it means to love someone through illness...
On the surface, the premise sounds almost absurd.
A teacher (Pobmek) forced to "raise" his own boyfriend after an accident leaves him with brain damage and a childlike mentality.
But that’s exactly why the series hits harder than expected (especially for me). It uses that premise not for shock value, but as a lens.
Because what the story is really doing is stripping love down to its most uncomfortable question:
What happens when love stops being equal?
Pobmek doesn’t just lose a partner, he loses the version of Solar who chose him, understood him, and met him as an adult.
Suddenly, love becomes responsibility. Routine. Exhaustion. The emotional whiplash of grieving someone who is still physically there.
And the show doesn’t let you look away from that.
There’s a subtle but constant tension between roles: boyfriend vs. caregiver.
And that tension mirrors real-life experiences of people caring for loved ones with neurological or mental health conditions, where affection and duty blur together, and guilt creeps in no matter what you do ( I speak from painfully personal experiences here).
Even Solar’s characterization matters here. He isn’t just cute or innocent, his regression highlights something deeper: the loss of autonomy.
The loss of self. The way illness can rewrite a person’s identity, not just for them, but for everyone who loves them.
And maybe the most heartbreaking part? The series quietly suggests that love alone isn’t always enough to make things fair, easy, or even sustainable.
That’s why Love You Teacher feels less like a romance and more like a love letter, specifically to the messy, unspoken reality of caring for someone.
Not the idealized version. The real one:
where patience has limits
where resentment can coexist with devotion
where choosing to stay is a decision you make OVER and OVER again
It’s a story about love, yes, BUT more importantly, it’s about the cost of it.
And that’s what makes it linger and what will make it go down as one of the BEST thai bls I have ever had the pleasure of watching.
WU - Fitting photos
That's a very nice cast ! Seriously, I am extremely excited to watch it.
I had no intention to watch this series. But seeing Krist looking LIKE THAT?????? It would be a crime against humanity to ignore that.
Something something about the fact that Solar said that Pobemek was the steady presence in his life and the arrival of Sun.
Now, I am no expert, but I did study Psychology for two years.
The heavy implication (till now) that Solar had a traumatic childhood which caused him to develop an alter personality (which very well could be Solar who is the alter as one day Sun did wake up and started telling everyone that his name was Solar) to process and cope with that trauma right? Well there is another thing. Often in cases like this, the childhood memory gets supressed by the person, once again as a coping mechanism as the mind can not handle the fact that it had experienced that. And once the person feels safe, the mind also feels safe enough to process those feelings.
So my theory is this
Solar is the "caretaker" personality which took over Sun when he was a child and in a situation where he could not handle the stress, he created Solar. But as Solar fell in love with Pobmek, and gradually felt himself relaxing and safe, Sun came back to him. (Because while the head trauma was worrying, it wasn't severe enough to be traumatic for Solar). Moreover the fact that Solar doesn't remember anything about his childhood, once again aligns with this.
Pobmek created the safe environment for Sun to reveal himself.
Also Dome (the director) consulted with an actual Psychologist (the one who showed up in the episode, yeah she is an actual psychologist) soooo.
This is so spot on.

Like…when I say the man is foundational to Thai BL it isn’t a joke. This is the foundation he has built with his work.
Is your bias listed above? Any actor you respect in the Thai BL scene up there? Any of them give a leg up to your bias? Because he gave them a chance that lead to where they are now. You don’t want your bias to be directed him? He’ll find other people. Promise.
I have also been adding the percentage of the actors drama credits (that have aired as of 2/8/2026) into the spreadsheet. For fun. And like if you need it.
This man sold his own HOUSE to finance Love By Chance. What did you do for BL so far, Mister and Misses "New is the devil"?

I think what bothers me the most about the entire Epstein situation is the fact that the only person being held responsible is a woman. I am not saying that this woman in particular doesn't deserve what she got. She definitely is the devil. But what about ALL these men? They can do all these atrocious things to girls and women and get away with it while the only person to really suffer any legal consequences is a woman. Someone please let it make sense.
The naughty one has arrived. (4/?)
Can't decide who I love more. Krist or the magnificent Pluto... I might have to admit that this gorgeous cat might win this duel... 🥰🥰🥰
