I have a love-hate relationship with my body. It didn't help that some people poke fun at my rather curvier and bigger stature today (I was 45 kgs before but now am about 70). Daily stressors, poor lifestyle choices, and messed up hormones also make it hard to achieve a healthier body and silence my demeaning inner voice.
But starting today, I will aim to be more appreciative of my body regardless of what people tell me. At the same time, I will do my best to break free from my usual routine so I can get to the fitness and wellness level that I aspire to be in.
I am halfway through my life (assuming I would reach 60). I hope to spend the rest with a healthier mind and body.
