back to my roots or whatever
[id: a digital drawing of Lucy Carlyle and ghost of the skull from Lockwood and Co books. Lucy sits on a couch and knits, her head is tilted and she looks concentrated. on the couch there's folded laundry with a present sitting on top of it, and next to Lucy there's a silver-glass jar, a Santa's hat on top of it. from the jar come swirls of ectoplasm that take shape of skull's human appearance, he leans on the back of the couch and points at what Lucy’s making. text next to him reads, “I've seen things in graves with better knitwear.”/end id]

An early video of the 35 Portland Row set!
I'd never seen this video before and I'm obsessed. It feels so homey and lived in and the level of detail is really astounding!

A social media AU where Lockwood keeps pressuring Lucy and George into doing various trends to help with business social media engagement and they keep derailing them but because it gets so many views Lockwood just lets it happen. They do one of the 'Hear me out cakes' and Lockwood puts in genuine people whereas Lucy and George just add pictures of Kipps and pretend like it's a completely new suggestion each time.

Messing around with a new art program, I liked how this turned out
Lockwood & Co tabletop roleplay project
All right Lockwood & Co folks, let's go apeshit.
I wish there was a tabletop Lockwood and Co roleplay, but none exists. So I have to create it (at least give a try).
-> Is there anybody interested ?
I would love to master a campaign in the Lockwood universe but for that, I need a guidebook. No fans has done it yet and I was wondering if I could find people to help me write it. It is quite a challenge, because it needs : characters sheets, ghost bestiary, lore, a few plots, etc.
There'll be at least a english version and a french version because I'm french B)
It'll be a fan project, no money invested, the guidebook PDF will be free for everyone.
In short, I was wondering if there were fans as crazy like me in here. Please contact me or comment this post

I've met Johnathan and Gina Stroud this sunday and they're fine with the project! 💀 They want to read it when it'll be finalised 😱
We still need help to write and improve:
The player guidebook (universe presentation, character creation, rules...)
The game master book (plots, secrets, hidden lore...)
The Fittes Manual that every agent receives when graduating ;)
In this game, you'll be able to play as a team of Psychical investigation agency. You may have Touch, Hearing or Eyesight; be more of a rapier expert or a bookworm. You'll go investigate in various creepy places and maybe discover something bigger as you progress.
So please, come join us, even if it's only to read what has been written and comment what can be improved. I hope to see you there ♥
I really want to make a really pretty oil painting of Lockwood and then do the thing where they smudge it to look all ghostly
Like this- but Lockwood pls

i can cut the tension with a knife
Lockwood and Co’s eight-episode season is expansive and exciting and especially deserving of a follow-up. It will always be disappointing that this show didn’t get more time. If you’re looking for something to (re)watch this fall, this show *has* to make the list.
ANNOUNCEMENT!! I now have Lockwood and Co digital download coloring pages in my Etsy shop! Get them individually or in a bundle ⚔️

soft worldbuilding in L&Co is so special to me especially how telling talents are:
Sight is associated with with people who look after others, who are always at the look out for danger, the ones who constantly see death and are tied to it no matter what (kipps (with talent and then with goggles), lockwood, skull (in life))
Listening is the warning sign, the haunting before haunting ever began, it gets into one's head and makes you trapped in there with voices of times long passed (lucy, kat)
Touch, in the world where one touch kills, is the most high risk, a conscious decision to put yourself into one's shoes and feel what they felt, ache with empathy all alone in a world of constant pain (lucy)
and having a bit of every talent makes one less vulnerable to psychic effects, but that means that you are fully submerged into haunting, into the past, once you are confronted by it, and in this profession it's constantly there and around you (george, holly, flo)
