People are seriously out there risking permanent chronic illness, disability, or death from the most virulent airborne virus known to man for a fucking IHOP lunch, but I'm the one who's insane for trying to keep us all safer by wearing a respirator in public and getting carryout when I do eat out (which was fucking rarely before the pandemic too).

please wear masks, yall... pandemic never stopped, companies and governments just wanted us ti keep making them fucking money, and enough people wanted it to be over enough that they were happy to pretend, happy to ignore. but being able to ignore it is a fucking privilege and youre hurting yourself and your community. please mitigate risks. please wear a mask. its such a small thing that makes such a big difference. im immunocompromised and i just got exposed to covid by someone who didnt wear a mask and only happened to decide to test, and they were positive for covid. so many people dont bother to test anymore when theyre sick. nobody knows you are supposed to isolate and wait a few days (about 5 after exposure, or 3 after symptoms start) to be able to tell at all, otherwise the test will give you a false negative. please. please. its disabling and killing your community. you have a choice. choose to protect your community. this is a difference you can make.
