when kimi complains about traffic on the radio he’s “speaking like a champion” or when charles crashes into the wall it’s “not his fault”, when it is “we must stick with him”. after all, kimi is young! he’s practically senna already, give him some slack he’s just a baby! poor charles, he deserves all our sympathy for going through these challenging times. he will win wdc one day, i swear! he has potential.
when george complains, he’s “being dramatic” and “deserves it”. when he crashes he’s a “shit driver” and it’s made fun of endlessly. nevermind the fact that it’s the williams crash from FIVE YEARS AGO, or the fact that he didn’t dnf at all last year or that his dnf in montreal wasn’t his fault. because he still threw that headset and it’s an overreaction and if it was any driver but george russell it would’ve be fine, but it is him so instead we call it “karma” and being “washed”.
