i don't really care if i get involved in a controversy & i think it's safe to say fifa had something to do with it. messi should have received a red card in the first match, but the referee simply ignored it. from that moment on, i realised there was nothing we could do. this world cup was too much, in 2030 we won't see cristiano ronaldo, neymar jr., modrić & many other legends anymore. it's a bit sad to think about. i'm confident you'll still be there. you play brilliantly & i know you have a lot more to give.

yeah, i am not strict at all, as long as it is vegan i will eat it. i do work out a lot so i kind of use that as an excuse. plus when i was younger i was naturally really thin and i like the mass i have now, so give me the baked goods to help me bulk. banana bread is really amazing, add some vegan chocolate chips and im in heaven.

I wish I could have something like that as much as I wanted. Haha. I have never thought about adding that to banana bread. I am sure its an obvious thing but I never thought about it.

I did enjoy it. I mean, losing in the semi final hurt so much but being part of such a thing means so much. Now its all done, I am going to make the most of spending time with my children.

don't get me wrong, i have a lot of respect for you and the england nt, but argentina crushed the dreams of a lot of players and a lot of fans. everything that happened in every match & even between the supporters, was really difficult to watch. it's sad seeing everything unfold like that. are any of your players thinking about retiring?

I agree that they did. We were watching the games leading up to our game and we noticed how they were behind to then break the hearts of the other team and the fans. There is a few that will maybe not be in the next World Cup. I don't even know if I will be.

In the end, there's 48 teams and only one of them can win the whole thing. You wouldn't be disappointed with a bronze in the Olympics, right? You're still 3rd best in the world. It's something to build from, and it's showing your consistency as a team to keep giving the other teams at the top somebody to keep an eye on.

That is true. Although, when you have won silver at Euros you want to go one step forward, not one step back. Third in the world is great, even if in the Fifa Rankings we are still fourth. We just need to keep working hard to get further next time.

We put it all out there when we play. You are right. We manage to do that even though we don't have a lot of time together in the international breaks. The longest we spend together as a national team is during the Euros and World Cups. Oh, you can say that again. And it is really tough.

That is true. Both are scary in different ways. They are. But then I have grown up around them so I am used to them. I do live in Munich now though so that is different again.

Second place? We were so ready to put right what happened in the Euros final. Argentina just happened to mess that up for us. There is so many things going through my head about that game. It breaks my heart that it could have been the last World Cup for quite a few of the squad.
