@thisisyourheart777: to answer your question on my previous post, these are the two spoilers that I looked at. Although they tell you a bit about some characters and what they’re up to, they do not, however, spoil the plot in any way, which I think is nice because we can then feed our need for knowledge of the story without ruining all the surprises. If, however, you would like more spoilers, you can probably just search it in the tags on tumblr.

I’m rereading the books in anticipation of the play and I keep finding tiny little things that I’d forgotten about. I’ve ignored some of the big famous changes, because I never forget those XD

The fact that yes Harry and Ron rescue Hermione from the troll but only after they locked it in the bathroom with her first

‘And you could ask your parents if they know who Flamel is,’ said Ron. ‘It’d be safe to ask them.’ / ‘Very safe, as they’re both dentists,’ said Hermione. I can’t help reading Hermione’s response as really dry humour, though it could also be the earnestness of an eleven year old and I’m not entirely sure which is funnier XD

Quirrell, in the final showdown, magics rope to tie Harry up while he’s stood there (wandlessly, I might add). A little later, while Quirrell is inspecting the mirror, Harry tries to get away but because of the ropes he just falls straight over. Quirrell ignores him. I can’t stop picturing little DanRad faceplanting in the background of a shot of Quirrell, and I feel bad for laughing but I’m still doing it…

Quirrell’s turban always smells funny. Is it because of the funk of evil? Does Voldemort just never get Quirrell to wash his face? We may never know.

wizarding schools around the world: Mahoutokoro School of Magic (Japanese: 魔法所, Mahōtokoro)

This ancient Japanese school has the smallest student body of the eleven great wizarding schools and takes students from the age of seven (although they do not board until they are eleven). While day students, wizarding children are flown back and forth to their homes every day on the backs of a flock of giant storm petrels. The ornate and exquisite palace of Mahoutokoro is made of mutton-fat jade, and stands on the topmost point of the ‘uninhabited’ (or so Muggles think) Volcanic island of Minami Iwo Jima.
