I've been on testosterone [a very low dose] for about 4 weeks now and I was so excited to see some changes, but also knew I shouldn't expect anything yet. Le Morte d'Arthur is an incredibly long book with the FASTEST PACE IMAGINABLE. I really thought we'd be taking our time here, but here's a real excerpt.

#There are so many books that I consider truly perfect - not one superfluous word #catch 22 comes to mind immediately #the haunting of hill house #tristram shandy #jonathan strange and mr norrell - might be a contender for best novel of the generation #titus groan - which scared the shit out of me it was so remarkable and so alien #treasure island - it's a classic for a reason - the invention of Long John Silver changed the game forever #frankenstein - in execution not so perfect but Mary Shelly fit every theme in the world into a book of 200 pages and changed the shape #of western fiction - and it was my favourite book as a 13 year old and lives in my heart
