Cora’s actually insane for setting up her ex-hookup and her daughter, and I feel like we don’t talk about that enough??
Cora meets gardener. Gardener says he’s a prince. Cora sleeps with gardener, gets pregnant. Gardener doesn’t come back for her when he said he would. Cora goes looking for him, discovers that he’s just a gardener at the castle. Cora confronts him, he runs. Cora meets Leopold. Cora and Leopold are engaged. Gardener hears about the peasant marrying the king, comes back. Gardener blackmails Cora. Ava overhears. Ava tells Leopold. He confronts Cora, catches her in a lie, breaks off their engagement and marries Ava.
Cora steals a dress, attends another royal ball, acts arrogantly to Henry’s (her future husband’s) father, tells a lie about her capabilities, he locks her up in a tower and threatens to execute her if she cannot prove her claims. Cora learns magic from Rumple, is allowed to marry Henry (fifth in line to be king), they have Regina.
Years later, she poisons Ava, then makes the horse Snow is on go wild, so Regina can rescue her, setting up an opportunity for the king, her ex-lover, LEOPOLD, to propose to Regina, her DAUGHTER??
Baffled and BEWILDERED.
