Last song: There’s no earthly way to know that since it’s been at least an hour since I listened to something last, but I did start a new podcast this week; Everything is Alive. It’s about interviews with various inanimate objects and honestly, it is quite fun and charming. That said; I do also quite like the song Heat Waves by Glass Animals and I’ve listened to that several times today. Primo shit 👌👌✨✨

Currently watching: The Addams Family! Imeant to be carrying on with my slashers binge, but the entirety of child’s play sort of just auto-played after Friday the 13th and now I’m mildly curious to see what’s in the queue

Currently reading: In no particular order, a few things, technically? The Witch’s daughter, which is quite good, an assorted book of myths and legends from across the world, The Hazelwood, which is also very good, and one about a magic school for unusual girls which is interesting, though I admittedly don’t know quite how to feel about it yet. I’m also somewhere in the series for Miss Peregrine’s School For Peculiar Children, which is great fun! If you hadn’t guessed, I’ve got a terrible habit of switching up what it is I’m reading with wild abandon and on absolutely no time frame.

As terrible a person it made you to admit as much- you didn’t think you could imagine life without Floyd Talbert.

You’d promised yourself at a young age that you’d never be one of those women who needed a man to complete them, far too disenchanted by the sight of your friends losing their fire and spark upon marrying their husbands. Your father had raised you with the same permissive encouragement as he had your brothers, something that horrified your mother so much that she eventually stopped inviting you to her happy home with her new husband altogether.

Now that you were older you realized that marrying Frederick had been your desperate attempt to win back your mother’s love and approval, much more than your marriage had been for any sort of actual love towards your husband. 

You’d tried, though. 

I have deleted requests that have sat in my inbox for months and i am really sorry if yours was one of them but i couldn’t bring myself to write them because i honestly had no motivation in the last few months. I have kept all alphabet requests and i plan on completing them at some stage in the future. I think a fresh start is whats best for me.

Band of Brothers Appreciation Week: Day 7 - Free Choice ⇝ The Men of Easy Company

MASTERLIST

The barracks were a mess. Skinny didn’t know what had happened to incur Sobel’s wrath, and he couldn’t help but frown and grumble at the disarray the barracks were in.

Skinny spied a sheet of paper sticking out from under his mattress and sighed before pulling it out. It was probably another sheet of notes he missed picking up the first time he cleaned everything.

His thoughts were proven wrong, though, when he flipped it over. His eyes widened at the sight that greeted him: a single drawing of himself filled the page, all of his details and quirks captured so gracefully with just pencil and paper. Skinny carefully smoothed out any wrinkles and stuck the drawings with his notes, making a mental note to ask around about them later. He wondered why someone who drew so well would want to hide their work from the world.

“Whatcha stuffing away so quickly?” George’s voice called from behind him.
