2026.06.08 | Most of us are not comfortable with confronting our own emotions. We often rush 'overcoming' and 'suppressing' these emotions and think of it as the way to healing. However, the opposite is true.
By sitting with our uncomfortable emotions, we let our heart speak: our truest self-expression, and we are able to release the emotion thru crying or deep -breathing, etc.; only then will we start healing.
Suppressing our emotions will trap it in our body and we end up suffering from it in the form of a physical and mental illness later on. So, sit with your emotions, and acknowledge it and let your body breathe it out instead of trapping it. Be grateful that it served you and let it go.
There is no end date for how long to do this for. You do it as needed. You make time and space for it when needed. This is the only way to heal properly.
