It took a lot of hurt and suffering to find my self worth, which is why I leave you this message; Love yourself. I want you to love yourself more than anything you’ve ever loved. Love yourself so deeply that no person could ever make you feel small or unworthy. Love yourself to the point where you pour love into everything you do, every person you meet and every place you see. Whatever you do, just keep loving yourself, and nothing will ever get in your way.

It’s sad that this thing between us won’t last forever. That one day this will all come to an end.

Even when the last leaf falls and the tree has lost all its colour, it still finds strength to recover and it will bloom once again. So just like a tree in the midst of the changing season, you will find your strength and you will begin to grow.

Stop using people in hope to fix all that is broken

I always thought you had to be happy on your own in order to find love and that you can’t try an find it, it has to find you. But the truth is, the right person will find you wether you’ve been searching for them or not and they will make you love yourself more than anything you’ve ever loved.

The beginning of a new life with out him: It’s going to be hard, unbearably hard, but you will get through it. Soon getting out of bed will no longer be a struggle and you will begin to see new light ahead of you. You will learn to put yourself first, you will learn how to be less selfless for the sake of your own self worth. You will learn that there is life after heart break, and this is where you’ll begin to grow. Where you will begin to heal. Where you will begin to love yourself again.

It’s time for you to start living the life you’ve always dreamt of living. When you look back at everything you’ve gone through this year, you think of the places you’ve been, the people you’ve met, the things you’ve seen… you think of the positive. And you think of how happy you felt in those moments but the way you feel now is exactly how you felt back then. Nothing has changed yet everything is so different. You look back at how far you’ve come in the past year, how much you’ve grown as a person, how much you have to be grateful for yet you take it all for granted. There is so much we go through each day, but we don’t realize how amazing and precious each one of those moments are until we are looking back at the memories years down the road. The point is, there is not enough time in the world to be living each day with a constant burden. Love everyday as much as you can so when you look back you can remember how you fell in love with the ocean waves and how you would chase the sun until it would slip below the horizon. Don’t just put a picture to a memory, put a feeling. Take this time to fall in love with the world and everything it has to offer. We are not going to be here forever so start treating each day as if its your last.

But that’s what they do. They come into your life and give you the slightest bit of hope of what it could be and then they leave.

It’s time to let him go. Stop waiting for him to be ready for you because chances are, he never will be. You deserve someone who looks at you and sees the future with you and only you.

I hope life finds a way to bring us together again. As I have waited my entire life for someone like you, we just got caught up in the wrong time.

You are diservent of a love that is equally felt. Love should never be one sided. It’s not wondering what you did wrong and why you haven’t heard from them in three days. It’s not wondering why they won’t fully commit and it’s not feeling insecure every time they leave the house. Love is putting someone’s happiness before yours. It’s listening to their favourite song or watching their favorite movie just to seem them smile. It’s showing your love through actions rather then words because it’s the little things that speak volumes.

The way her eyes lit up whenever he was around or the way he looked at her was something I’ve never seen before.

They both knew that what they had was real. But the timing was all wrong and soon they’d have to split and go their separate ways. But for their sake I hope they find each other again someday. Because a love like that deserves to be felt.

We live in a generation where the read receipts determine our self worth and the number of likes on Instagram determine our popularity. We are the kids who are fixated on getting that perfect photo only to try an convince others that we are living in this perfect world. But in relaity it’s just an act we put on. Then we have the girls who are falling for boys who pretend to like you because the number of likes on your post make it socially acceptable. And it’s sad because you see these photos of people and their “significant other”, appearing to have the time of their life but in reality they are some of the saddest and loneliest people out there.
