Oh, and so you don't get surprised like I did, have an avoid: Hillsdale College is a conservative Christian site and not a valid MOOC place. Keroro Musical Plot Details and Additional Costumes Teased!

More details about the musical dropped today! As you can see, we have costumes teased for the humanoi—uh, I guess they’re all humanoid now…the Hinatas And Friends characters, with full visuals to come on June 23. In addition, we’ve been introduced to five new original characters: the Meta Keroro Platoon!

Here’s a plot summary of the musical from the official website:

The Keroro Platoon has come from Planet Keron to invade Pekopon, but on this particular day, Sergeant Keroro himself is once again slacking off and getting distracted from his invasion plans. Meanwhile, Tamama develops a case of “Keron-sick Syndrome” as he yearns for his home planet Keron.

And so, the Keroro Platoon plus Fuyuki and the others decide to dive into a virtual world called “Faux Keron” created by an AI—or “KI”—Kururu has been developing!

The group are enjoying Faux Keron to the fullest when the KI goes haywire and evolves itself, birthing replicas of the Keroro Platoon called the Meta Keroro Platoon! Now our heroes’ path is blocked by the flawless Meta Keroro Platoon and their mysterious aims… Can the real Keroro and friends make it back to the real world safely?!

The Meta Keroro Platoon are indeed the five mystery characters teased during the expanded cast reveal, with the cast members being assigned the following roles:

Yuya Tominaga is Meta Sergeant Keroro

Rukia Nakagawa is Meta Private Tamama

Ryoshiro Tsuji is Meta Corporal Giroro

Gaku Matsuda is Meta Sergeant Major Kururu

Kenta Matsui is Meta Lance Corporal Dororo
