Hey guys update!
Due to unfortunate circumstances (college life and health), I have to minimize posting the challenge every day and maybe just post the ones I've already drawn. Its really unfortunate because of the ideas I already had for them way back before this started :((
Meanwhile, to all the artists I see doing it, ya'll are the goats like so many different art styles I see every day! You guys are doing amazing!!
DAY #3 & DAY #4!!
Mr. VintageBeef making the tcg hermitcraft while Evil Xisuma is.. posing for him as a reference???
DAY 1 & DAY 2!!
Zedaph and Welsknight! Look at those golden rich curls! Both can be whimsy in their own very pecuilar way.
Their character deisgns has been on the works since last summer, but I fully rendered them using ibispaint x and medibang. Hopefully, I can continue doing this before college finals ends me cuz I really love drawing the hermits!
Took a while but I finished the other hermits' designs. Hope to make funny sketches of them interacting with the first hermits I made designs of.

WIP
Heyyy guys still alive
Been more active recently on twitter posting state smp stuff. Actually recovered most of my motivation to revisit hermitcraft again (because of state, alot happened and vacation) So heres a wip for being inactive here! Hopefully I can actuaaly finish it though its just a bunch of render practices in ibis (cant really work with the old hc wips since I left the files where I'm currently staying for college)

WIP!
i wonder who this is....i do wonder...
People used to comment on web comics.
People used to comment on fanfiction.
People used to comment on fanart.
People used to comment on OCs.
I hate "content" culture.
I hate "consuming content" and scrolling immediately to the next thing.
People used to be excited about the art that other people created.
People used to want to share that excitement with creators.
I hate this future.
Once someone tagged art that I made with "woah" and I think about it at least once a week. Someone else said "oh neat" once. Someone else WROTE A WHOLE DAMN POEM IN THE COMMENTS. Anyways even just one word can change how someone sees their art. You don't even have to think about it too hard. You could put a keyboard smash and I'd probably cry from joy.
I'm also trying hard to interact more, I understand that it's hard to break away from opening your phone and being in Content Consumption Mode.
I honestly hadn't stopped to think about this until I saw this post... I used to think people would get annoyed if they were notified everytime someone posted a comment on their art. I never thought about it being like fanfiction and that they might appreciate comments. Frick, that means I'm part of the problem on here. Thats gotta change.
Every tag, every comment, every reblog with some kind of reaction/opinion or even just one word. All of these things are precious to creators!
I spent countless hours reading and rereading tags full of love people left under my art. All the people i could gift a laugh to or even inspire with something I made mean more to me then you could ever know.
It's what makes me proud of my art!
And to think that you could have enjoyed my art in silence and I would have never known.

Dude this is making me emotional.. I watched this season with my brother when it first started off but never got to finish it during the pandemic (it was a difficult time). But I can still remember some of the builds. TFC's base, the pranks, as well as that huge sign of mega pies. I haven't travelled far yet, but seeing this at spawn is such a trip back to those days. My brother and I constantly watched new episodes from different hermits and remembered how inspiring they can be and how huge the impact is for us. It's sad that we didn't get to finish the journey with them. But I am having a blast to revisit the builds that I remembered.
To those who worked on this, I want to genuinely hug you and thank you for making it available and FOR FREE.
