ok been thinking again,, and I imagine the c team before they were the c team were generally lower ranked heroes. They weren't bad,, but they also weren't being sent out to go fight any villains like doc either.

skizz used to be a sidelines healer kept in the agencies medbay but he got bored and wanted action. so he was employed by Mr Monopoly (yes scars banker persona gets to be his own person) and was kept around to scare off any potential theives. The agency was fine with it (after a bit of back and forth) because it wasn't super demanding for skizz so they could call him back when needed and he stopped complaining to them.

A wither would be set loose just outside the city and the only available heroes around to solve the issue would be Ren, Mumbo, and Skizz. They didn't solve the issue, like at all. But they were competent enough to hold it off so other heroes could come and assist them.

They weren't grouped together immediately but the three would start getting sent on low risk missions together and actually start to be successful. It wasn't until a few enderdragons got set loose on the overworld that they were put into a team. Again, those three, with the inclusion of Beef this time, would be the only heroes available to respond to this. Skizz took the lead and the four defeated the dragons quickly and on their own.

Naturally because of that, Skizz became the leader of the new hero group called 'The C-Team!' And their goal? find out who's releasing these dangerous mobs onto the overworld and who's trying to destroy Hermit City like this

When I made my list of which Hermits wear socks with sandals, we put veteran Hermit VintageBeef in the category of “does not wear socks with sandals”, with the reasoning that the Canadian climate he lives in is too cold to make such attire practical. I had my doubts, even when that post was published, that this assessment was entirely correct; but like a fool, I made my statements with full confidence anyway.

I was wrong on two accounts. First of all, I have been informed that Beef recently moved to Portugal, which is absolutely the correct climate for wearing sandals, socks or no.

Secondly, I have been informed that he looks like this.

Look at him. The tasteful earth-toned t-shirt. The baseball cap. The beard dark and thick enough to hide a small child. The dad energy is strong with this one.

This is absolutely a man who wears socks with sandals. I would not be shocked if he wears them to bed. I would not be shocked if he wears them in the shower. This is a man who almost certainly has a pair of genuine Birkenstock that, through years of use, has been worn down to fit his feet alone with microscopic precision like Cinderella’s shoe.

I was wrong. I would like to apologize to all fans of VintageBeef for so severely misjudging your man. The original post has been edited accordingly, and I will do my best to ensure that a mistake of this severity will not happen again.
