He feels himself relax at the squeeze and sinks to the floor. He hugs himself. "I'm holding myself back.", he says, because any other reason than holding back his power, anything else than an act of displaying that he is the stronger one, would be disgraceful. He sighs with relief, comfort washing over him as he relaxes more and hugs himself tighter, chasing that little beat his heart skipped the moment he became aware of his own warmth.

"I'm sorry I was screaming so much. I guess you wouldn't want me to do that to your face.", he attempts at peacemaking. This must be why he was locked here for weeks, to let him release his rage until he calmed down. Okay. Fair. Arch can't help but laugh at himself. Yeah, of course. He's a piece of shit.
