Jophiel and Saps, their symbolism of Sky and Sea
Jophiel being the sky and people always saying how beautiful it is, constantly seen as a guiding light and a symbol for good/fortune (sunny day/clear sky) how soft those clouds are.. how the sky must be a gentle part of the universe. But seeing the sky that way is naive and erasing away the inner beauty and complexity of it, because the sky is also disastrous; untamed emotions turns to catastrophic disasters. From storms to hail to hurricanes. Its not pretty. Its scary and people fears it and shouts their hate if the sky shows even a sliver of negative signs. You can never be anything more than beautiful, unless people will complain and hate you, they will blame you even if your change was because of their actions than your own
Meanwhile Saps being the sea because of how mysterious it is. Its a contradiction of itself by breaking its own rules, not staying into one thing or another; always changing and never the same. The people who doesn't know it fears it, how much people doesn't like the unknown; how dangerous the sea could be and how DARK it is. But the sea is beautiful in its own right and the more you learn about it; the more deep you go, the more you understand.. the more incredible it is, the more gorgeous. Once you break through the fear and see it as for what it is, you realize how calming it is, you figure out how wild it could be, you figure out to avoid the dangers, you figure out its quirks and little things and suddenly its not so scary anymore. Because although the sea kills, it also provide and protects
But the sea is a reflection of the sky and while the sea is dark the sky's light makes it beautiful and the sky will never— could never hurt the sea just like how the sea will never hurt the sky, they are a pair that is almost impossible to take away for the sea gives to the sky and the sky returns it tenfold. When met together they make a scenery unfathomable.
The absolute stillness and calm when the sea and the sky and Saps and Jophiel are together and at peace. The silence that is comforting, but only between them.
The sky and sea are like the literal soulmates that are connected, a reflection of one another, whatever happens to one the other follows, unlike the sun and moon who can never meet each other except for when an eclipse happen. The Sky and Sea are intertwined
