End of the Year Fandom Appreciation Post
Just want to shoutout all the amazingly observant metas that got me to notice things I never otherwise would have caught. We have a lovely community here and I really enjoy how much care and support people show each other, especially in these times.
@whenmemorydies for the subversive potential in the legerdemain of the Bear being that it is critiquing the "system, baby"!
@hamachibloodmagic for catching the buried sound layers in Syd and Carmy's phone conversation with birds chirping, sirens and all like some kind of freaking subliminal messages!
@fairestbeard for scrubbing the sound layers when Carmy is trapped in the walk-in to hear him shout for Syd (I did not catch that) as well as in the wedding panic attack when he overhears a stranger seemingly say Sydney. Wild, just wild!
@aerishey for the incredible captures of Carmy looking at Syd and how often his eyes flick down to her mouth, even licking his lips when he sees her in the chef whites. No way I caught that without your drawing our attention to it!
@waywardangel-wilds for noticing that the table Carmy served Red Flag on was the same table he screwed with Syd under. Subtext!
@thoughtfulchaos773 for pointing out Carmy's expression at Richie after Syd says he is the partner she needs. I was so devastated by the idea that he is leaving to find himself with Red Flag that I did not realize how insanely jealous and enmeshed he was till (because of you) I saw that brief micro-expression flash across his face. Whoa!

Also shoutout to @sonoranbumblebee for being such a warm welcoming presence in the fandom, @afrofairysblog for continuously sending support to everyone, @freedelusionshere and @morningssofgold and @notthebear for letting us listen in on all your discussions and conversations, especially about accountability.
Don't know whoever first figured out the bandana dish and the green and yellow ode to Syd's wedding dress --but you are amazingly observant. I would never have seen it till you drew attention to it.
If I ever need help solving a mystery, you all are the kind of people I would want on my team. No "second screen" viewing up in this fandom.
