- I'm confident I can speak in full formal filipino and english but the thing is, dear friends and foes, translation isn't about the "pureness" of language like we were raised to believe. The biggest sin you can make in translation is to disregard the vibes of the source text. Translation isn't a dick-measuring competition of who can make a 1:1 word equivalent, the most important part is retaining the intention and soul of the original. Let's not forget that, alright?
