kisuke doesn't like leaving things up to the unknown. he makes a thousand plans and solutions to avoid the very thing. he directs fate, not the opposite.

kisuke wants to help lift others up and assist them to becoming better even though his zanpakuto itself, a reflection of his soul, isn’t meant for assisting/training/helping others. he’s actively going against his nature, or 'fate' to do so..

kisuke also sees himself in aizen and deflects, so maybe taking on the mentorship role allows him to support and help others instead of himself, restraining the purely clinical/scientific part of him that wants to see how and why things happen? that also created the hogyoku, originally? which all leads back to breaking his fate of becoming the mad scientist with no conscience ? i dunno about this but i wanted to get it out there
