Imagine we get super supportive Eddie who just wants to show Buck he supports him and loves him for who he is and that he will always be by his side, and yeah he is the one who was just going on about how cool Tommy is even if he has an unexplainable stomach ache thinking about the possibility of Tommy and Buck kissing. And he keeps putting up a great face for Buck and being so supportive and even probably going overboard in his support but whenever he's alone he just starts spiraling until he devolves into another panic attack. Chris wants to call Buck because that's what he did last time and it worked and we'll, it's BUCK. but Eddie has to to beg him NOT TO CALL BUCK but how does he explain to his kid (who thinks Buck hangs the stars in the sky) that he's panicking BECAUSE of Buck (and the idea of him and Tommy). So Chris does the next logical thing and calls Chim/Maddie and Maddie comes over to help and calms Eddie down while listening to his ramblings about being afraid of losing Buck and not understanding what he feels, and Maddie, Maddie who just called Buck on his jealousy towards Eddie and Tommy being friends is sitting there, doing her absolute best to calm down her friend, while also internally cussing out the universe for putting her between two idiots who can't see the obvious truth on front of them. I just think that would be neat.
