I’ve just been looking through my drafts and I’ve so many half-written stories that’ll never see the light of day, but I love some of the writing in them. So, thought we could play a little game as it’s almost the weekend. To entertain me, and celebrate your wonderfullness, why don’t you share with Tumblr a favourite line from one of your unpublished fics or WIPs? Or maybe the sentence you once wrote and love, but it’s just never made it into anything yet.

She chose to avert her gaze, looking down at the floor instead. “I couldn’t sleep.” She admitted, studying the cracks in a handful of linoleum tiles. She’d have to get those fixed sooner rather than later.

He snorted. “Little young for that, aren’t you? You know, the whole insomnia bit.”

She scoffed, crossing her arms. “How old do you think I am?”

Anthony blinked. “I’m not answering that.”

“Good.” She muttered, and he looked visibly taken aback. “I would hate to be on the receiving end of yet another jab from you tonight.”

Anthony looked down, his lips twisting slightly as he sat in silence with his thoughts. “Look, I’m sorry about that,” He said, finally, looking up at her from his spot on the plush bench, his deep brown eyes displaying what actually seemed to be genuine regret. “Truly. But I don’t blame you for thinking the worst of me. I get it.”

Kate frowned. “Why?”

“Oh, come on, Miss Sharma. Surely you know everybody’s got a little larceny operating in them?”

“That’s pretty cynical,” She replied, pulling out her chair (the worn legs of which squeaked against the linoleum) and taking the opportunity to sit down. “I didn’t actually think you were a housebreaker.”

The audacity of these people. If you're going to apologise for anything, apologise for not promoting Season 2 properly. Apologise for leaving Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley to pay for the Season 2 wrap party, you cheapskates. Apologise for sending their characters off to India every five frigging minutes.

You don't take credit for Jonathan Bailey, only his Mum gets to do that.
