We need to isolate and start selectively breeding the plastic eating bacteria so we can optimise their efficiency, and then somehow splice their DNA into the gut bacteria of an obligate carnivore, so we can put it in our cats gut biomes so they'll finally be free of having to choose between whether they want to eat plastic or whether they want to live.

im the kind of autistic where i get so upset about my neighbors mowing their lawns that I have to go hide in the shower so I cant hear it because it makes me so angry that they are killing the plants that I like hanging out with. Recently they cut down one of the trees between our houses and i was sad but i understood because it was damaged in a storm, and I was SO excited to see that where they cut the tree down a bunch of new trees were sprouting up and one of the plants was already as tall as me and i was so excited to see new things growing in its place but the neighbor went out there today after I had just spent part of the afternoon hanging out around there and they cut down every new plant. And now I feel stupid because I’m crying about trees but I was so excited to see them grow big and tall like the last tree
