Posting this here real quick before going back to drawing.

Wanted to draw THE fox girls, so here they are :) I loved drawing the clothes even if it was a little difficult to figure out what Dan would wear.

Anyway, I love them and I actually kind of love how they turned out 🥹

HIII thank you for asking :) I'm not good at explaining but I'll try.

So, I know we're tired of hearing all the time "you need to practice!!" But it's sooo true, I swear what helped me the most to improve on skin and drawing muscles was studying and practicing with a reference, first learning the basics like what the line of action is or practicing figure drawing, then focusing on different body parts. I'm no expert, like, at all, but it's what works for me. I'm also very indecisive when it comes to coloring digitally, so I try a lot of different brushes and methods.

In my last Neil drawing I used a photo as reference because I wanted to practice back muscles and tried to follow it as best as I could. Also, before that drawing I saw a video of another artist drawing backs and I wanted to try their method... So yeah, I use a normal soft brush to color and give shadows and then I blend some parts where I think the shadow should be more soft.

ALSO! Something important when drawing muscles is knowing where the light is coming from and how to apply that with the shadows, so definitely practice shadows and lightning, otherwise it'll look a little wonky (I talk from experience)

I'll leave some videos I watched that helped me study and improve my knowledge on anatomy :)
