Barty chews the inside of his mouth so badly that it's like rocky ground in there and he always felt self conscious about kissing people with his mouth so fucked up but then he gets together with Evan and Evan loves to feel the texture of Barty's mouth and finds it so interesting and will just spend hours kissing him to feel it.

Neil loves thunderstorms. Andrew hates them. the problem is that Andrew doesn’t want to leave Neil, and Neil has no intention of leaving the balcony while the storm is rolling across the sky. so, little by little, Andrew learns to compromise. It’s a huge step for him the first time he lets himself lean back against Neil’s chest while they sit together outside. Neil traps him gently between his knees and wraps both arms around his body, shielding him from the world as much as he possibly can, even if he can’t silence the thunder itself. another crack of thunder rolls overhead, and Andrew flinches almost imperceptibly. “You can go inside,” Neil murmurs by his ear for what must be the third time. Andrew only shakes his head. “Why the hell do you even like this?” he mutters, still unable to understand. “I like the sound,” Neil replies once again. “And the way it lights up the sky.” Andrew lets out a quiet snort. “You have terrible taste.” Neil raises an eyebrow, glancing briefly at the top of his head. as Andrew unconsciously nestles a little closer against his chest, Neil instinctively tightens his arms around him and whispers, “I'm not complaining.” he presses a gentle kiss to the back of Andrew’s head just as another peal of thunder tears across the sky. Andrew’s shoulders tense for the briefest moment before relaxing again, while Neil’s embrace grows just a little tighter around Andrew, as does his quiet chuckle grows a little louder against his neck.

as Andrew walks past Neil in the kitchen, he gives him a light smack on the backside. Neil startles just enough to glance back at him with a questioning look, only to catch the exact same flicker of bewilderment in Andrew’s own eyes. Andrew clearly hadn’t meant to do it either, though he quickly buries that brief moment of confusion beneath his usual expression of this was completely intentional. neither of them ever breaks the habit. before long, Neil simply grows accustomed to expecting a light swat from Andrew every time he passes by him.

Neil picks up the habit of kissing the top of Andrew’s head after doing it absentmindedly one day. Andrew eventually grows used to it, though he puts a remarkable amount of effort into pretending he hasn’t. then, one day, as Neil leans in, Andrew unconsciously tilts his head ever so slightly, offering the crown of it for the kiss before he even realizes what he’s done. the moment he catches himself, he tries to disguise the movement as casually as possible, but Neil notices immediately. a barely concealed smirk tugs at his lips as he gently presses a kiss to the top of Andrew’s head anyway.

oblivious neil/jealous andrew but it's not just andrew who gets jealous. all the foxes see some guy flirting with neil, and every single one of them immediately starts to intervene because hey wtf you can't do that! that's neil! neil is andrew's! this cannot happen it is preposterous get away from him!!???
