Narcissus(37117)asteroid wherever placed in our chart shows in which area of life we have the most pride. It shows our ego and rejection of others point of view or opinion. Our inconsiderate feelings in different houses of our birth chart.

Narcissus is a male figure from Greek mythology. He was the son of the river god, Cephissus and the nymph Liriope. He was a very beautiful young man and many fell in love with him, but he always rejected them and showed disdain, as he grew a sense of pride in his looks.His mother was once warned by a seer Teiresias that her son would live a long life as long as 'he never knows himself'.
One day, an Oread nymph named Echo fell in love with Narcissus but he showed disdain towards her and rejected her. Echo, then spend her life roaming in the woods for the rest of her life. At seeing this, Nemesis, the goddess of retribution and revenge, came to know about the whole event and decided to punish Narcissus. She led him to a pool and there, he saw his own reflection in the pool and fell in love with it. Unable to draw himself away from the pool, he died out of thirst and starvation.

When this asteroid is in first house, it shows you take pride in yourself. Sometimes, you are all about yourself. You get easily agressive if someone tries to shake your beliefs or try to impose their beliefs on you. You take pride in how you can stand up for yourself and look down on others who can't do the same. Your competitive nature and leader like qualities are not possessed by everyone and you are quite known to that fact, still you pity those around you.

You guys take pride in how you all are so much of a resourceful person and can manage money and other financial matters. You belittle the people who have problems in setting up their life goals. Some of you have a very good voice and can sing on certain occasions and thereby, your ego gets boosted by it. You are all about " how can I achieve my goals", which is not bad, but you them take others goals and achievements as worthless as compared to you.

With this, some of you all, kinda belittle your siblings too much. You always have that tendency to compare their achievements to yours and then look down on them. You look down on people who try to steal the spotlight from you and if someone does that, you create unnecessary drama, so that the attention is back on you. You hate it when people show off their belongings but it's all good if you do that.
