The OC I imagined is a worker drone who has survived in the areas Gamma hunts for a long time. She is not especially strong and she knows she could never fight them directly so she survives by paying attention to them.

She keeps a small notebook hidden inside an old maintenance room where she writes down everything she notices about Gamma. Their movements the places they usually hunt how long they stay in one area and the differences between M P and O.

I imagined her wearing an old repair jacket with several patches from different outposts a tool belt and a few marks on her visor from the times she barely escaped. She would have a quiet personality and rarely trust anyone but she is very patient and observant.

The scene I pictured most clearly is her sitting alone at a workbench late at night, drawing O from memory after seeing her collect another worker drone. The room would be almost completely dark except for the small light above the desk. Her notebook would be open beside her with rough drawings of Gamma and notes about their habits.

I think she could become interesting later because Gamma are free now and no longer have Corporate telling them where to go. She could realize before most workers do that this freedom might make them much harder to predict.

While reading the chapter I also kept thinking about what Gamma might find when they visit other outposts and whether they will eventually discover what happened to Epsilon. That part especially made me curious about where the story is going.

Next chapter of my fanfic is live. Has one of the longest authors notes I've written so far. Somehow I near 4k hits already.

This is a good nori/yeva fic that retraces canon but its a lot of fun in how it does it. It has Vuzi and Dizzy as main ships which makes me happy. I'm such a sucker for Dizzy it was the first ship I latched onto.
