Writing a fic to cope with shit but I didn't include my e@ting disorder cause I didn't know how to fit it in at the time + couldn't figure out which they would have, but I think this could work

I think Okuyasu would struggle with Other Specified Feeding and Eating Disorder (OSFED/EDNOS).

Due to food insecurity during childhood he got used to overeating/binging since he didn't know when they would/wouldn't have food which led to him ignoring hunger/fullness cues.

But some days they wouldn’t have food and he got used to (unintentional) fasting after binging. Fast forward to the present where he’s in a much more (financially) stable position thanks to his job + Tomoko, he still carries those binging/fasting patterns.

He’s still mentally unwell and tries using restricting to cope— to give him control and to make him look better (he already feels ugly so at least he could have a nice body).

He also feels the need to look/be stronger: Keicho always saying how weak and useless he was, the need to look strong/fine/healthy, and to uphold his “delinquent reputation”.

But he always ends up binging due to old habits ingrained in him (easily overeats and quickly spirals once he feels like he’s lost control since he already has so little control in his life) so he fasts/works out excessively afterwards to make up for it.

I wasn’t going to give Josuke one but whatever fuck it.

I think Josuke would struggle with anorexia nervosa.

He gets a lot of praise for his looks and body, so much so that a small part of him ties his self worth into how he looks. Terrified of being anything less than, he develops anorexia to keep him perfect. Classic case of constant skinny praising (instead of fat shaming) leading to an e@ting d!sorder.

Okuyasu’s also jacked as shit (due to excessive exercising) and he constantly compares himself to him + he doesn’t wanna “let him down” (he’s crushing on him).

Also could work for trans Josuke since losing weight shrinks your chest and he uses that as a “motivator”. Idk if this is a thing in disordered trans men but I’m pretty sure I’ve heard some talk about this.. otherwise lmk
