The sneakers in question: *still very much so alive, no holes, perfectly fine other than needing a wash*

My mother: where going on a trip next week Mage, i want you to look presentable, so get some new shirts and a new pair of sneakers while you're out for your walk at the mall

Me: sure, whatever. Anything to avoid shoe shopping with you or [insert Brothers name] present since I hate clothe shopping in general

Me: *spend 200 dollars on 2 shirts and a crustaceans themed button up because I like sea food and the button up was cute, + another 200+ dollars on sneakers that look just like the old one's just dark blue*

My mother: Neat, everything is good. But you're new sneakers are a little snug...

{we are relatively the same shoe size give or take the brand so she wears my shoes sometimes when gardening}

Me: of course there snug? They are brand new, the old ones where just like that. Just gotta brake the new ones in and all is well.

My mother: hmm, we are going to be doing a lot of walking... hmm, you know what, just wear the old ones since there already broken in and comfortable as is!

I've been trying to avoid this crossover, not because I hate it

NEVER THAT

But because I have been thinking about this crossover on and off for YEARS as a major fan of both shows!

Alas for the sake for Fun & Whimsy, I must commit to the bit

So, to set up this crossover, lets just say the Storm Hawks Squad got caught in a blast of a mismatch of combined Crystal powers and that is what caused them to be sent to Slugterra.

Chaos ensues, as expected, since the Condor and their Skimmers ended up left behind so there was no way to get a birds eye view like they normally would.

Not that it would matter- since Stork would point out they where in fact underground. LMAO

And so begins the short saga of wondering around, and trying to figure out wtf happened and how to get out. Since as of right now, the whole Squad straight up thinks they got teleported deep into some Terra cavern.

I mean, they are in a Cavern, just not one from a Terra or the Wastelands.

Piper and Junko would be interested in the flora of the Cavern's. heck even the animals, like the slugs once the little guys got curious enough to make themselves known.

Aerrow, Radarr and Finn wanna find a way out. Sure Radarr is loving jumping from branch to branch, and Aerrow and Finn do like exploring to different degrees. However Aerrow is concerned with that was going on back home in Atmos since they are still at war with Cyclonia at this point in time and who knows what the Cyclonians would do with them gone from the sky's, and that is making him anxious. Radarr feels his friends anxious vibes, and misses the feeling of wind in her fur even if Aerrow's flying routinely gives him heart attacks. Finn just want's to get out, because if this was a newly discovered Terra and Cave system, then the Storm Hawks(mainly Finn himself) found, then they can get famous for this or something, idk Finn just want's bragging rights to impress the ladies and this seems like it would work.

Stork's paranoia immediately takes hold, and he's spouting off theories about where they are, what the plants are- and when he first see's a slug he screeches about them being 'Brain Eating Slugs'.

HA! humor. It's funny because that is a real thing Stork is afraid of

And that screeching is what drew the attention of the Shane Gang.

As luck would have it, the Squad ended up being teleported into Wild Spore Cavern, not that far from the Shane Hideout.

The Gang comes rushing out thinking someone was in trouble.

When they arrive they find a mismatch group of oddly dressed individuals trying to calm down a green guy(Stork), as he spiraled.

Eli: why dose the redhead look familiar?

Que misunderstanding fight, then the realization that, 'hold on- why are we fighting!? We don't have to fight! we can talk!'

One thing leads to another and everyone realized something was wrong. Especially since Eli realized why Aerrow looked so familiar to him-

SO going off the Aerrow eater egg in the Ep 'Inheritance' from Slugterra, I like to HC Storm Hawks was a show from the Surface, and Eli used to have an Aerrow action figure, that he at some point snuck into his dads bag before Will went back to Slugterra after spending sometime at home. When Will found the action figure he put it in that chest, and we know the rest from there.

Eli is reasonably freaking out over the fact the characters from a cartoon he watched as a kid where real, and somehow ended up here. Obviously, he of all people would want the Storm Hawks to go home.

Trixie, Dana and Kord are fascinated by the Crystals the Storm Hawks had on them, and Piper was more than happy to explain.

Pronto is recounting the Gang's adventures and Finn is fully absorbed by it, as well as Junko.

Vance, Mario, Gant, Stocker and Blite are a little skeptical but hearing about some of the missions the Storm Hawks have been on, it was hard to deny it with the way the Storm Hawks talk about it.

Plus you know, Eli dose remember some of the show from when he watched it.

speaking of which, Eli makes the Storm Hawks swear not to say a thing about the Atmos to anyone outside of the Gang.

Considering Crystals aren't exactly a thing in Slugterra, it's going to be hard to try and find a way back. So until then, The Squad is going to have to crash at the Hideout for a while, or I guess camp out in the backyard like Blite is currently doing.

I guess that is when the Storm Hawks learn more about Blite, and I guess Gent and Stocker as well, as those three do hang out late and talk about stuff, the did. The Storm Hawks would obviously overhear things and ask their own questions.

makes the Squad wonder if any of their regular villains can be like the former Mercenary, Bounty Hunter and Felon.

Aerrow in particular wonders if there is some kind of hope for Dark Ace to be a little like Blite once he learns the guys Eli's uncle and see's how they interact.

Had things been different and Dark Ace not betray the original Storm Hawks, Dark Ace may have been a mentor or even family to Aerrow...

On a side not, Blite and Stork become best friends. Don't ask why, it just makes sense to me.

Mario and Vance would offer to teach the Storm Hawks some basics with Slug Slinging and Mecha riding. Finn would brag about being the best sharpshooter back in the Atmos and did not need 'training' from some show off. ["pot meet kettle"]

Mario takes offence to this, and the two start a mini competition.

Goes as well as you think it dose.

Vance on the other foot in completely insnared by the idea of a Skimmer when Piper makes a comment about how diffrent the Mecha Beast's are compared to them.

Vance, Kord and Dana want flying motorcycles now, and are going to make it everyone's problem.

Then the Squad learn Vance and Mario where famous, that spawns a whole other slew of questions.

all in all, the Storm Hawks can tell this group is kinda like them, trying to help and protect the Caverns. Even if some of them have a colored past.

It would take a while to find a way to send the Strom Hawks back, but as it turns out, they didn't need to worry about it since whatever Crystal effect sent them to Slugterra's Universe was wearing off and they would zap back home to where they where originally hit with the Crystal blast.

I would imagen there are some high jinks in between the Squad getting zapped to Slugterra and then back, but this post is already getting to long sksksks so let's put a pin in it here lol

However, that's just me! If anyone has other ideas I would love to hear them!

I only ask since I'm writing Jimmo in a short fic currently, and it JUST popped into my head to question the kind of view he would have of the Slugs when he was in Slugterra
