To the point that at the beginning of today's game when he walked to the batting plate, practically the entirety of Rogers Center Stadium, which is filled to the brim with about 50,000 Blue Jays fans mind you, stood up and applauded and cheered for him.

I guess that goes to show what sportsmanship is like, you love and care about the players no matter who's team their on.

Anyway the 6 game losing streak is over, God speed boiz, God speed lol

Yeah uh- we did a lot of walking in nature so I touched a lot of grass-

Hiking

Took The Drop[TM] lmao into a cave, thought it was more like a ravine/long cove then a Cave. I was so preoccupied trying not fall i didn't get many photos haha!

But most importantly-

While at Blue Mountain Village I got to see the infamous year round Christmas store. Look I don't celebrate the holiday, but I get it I really do, its just- DAMN okay? Year round holiday whimsy is such a wild thing to me!

All in all, 1000/10, I like walking, literally just go to my local large Shopping Mall Complex to just walk around for like four hour and not buy anything other than lunch or a drink(unlike some people(my dumbass brother)I am not one to buy things on a whim). So I had a fun time walking around and just being outside since im typically inside most of the time.

In this au, Twist's father never dies, so he doesn't join Blakk's team and instead becomes an ally of the Shane gang. (how? still trying to figure that out) Pretty chill guy, but has noticed some odd things about the team that no one else (at least not outside) really notices. And ask Lia questions about the strange things that he notices about the team, much to the dismay of Lia. (Note: Twist joins the team after Lia finds out the truth about them being dark banes)

Tad, in this au (unlike his canon counterpart), hates his father for abandoning him and his mother. Even though his mother tries to help him understand why this happened, Tad can't bring himself to forgive the man for what he did to them. Also, Tad learns very quickly that his father is basically destroying all of Slugterra just to get what he wants, and that adds more fuel to his hatred of Dr. Blakk. (Note: Tad and his mother never leave Slugterra and stay somewhere that only Dr.Blakk knows) I haven't figured out when Tad meets the gang and Lia, but I do know he will join them eventually. Just to rub it in his dad's face.

And that's what I have so far. Again, it will be a while before I really figure out this au. Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions that would be helpful.

Considering I'm taking my time with the Man-Down AU, so dont rush, good things come to those who wait.

Twist effectively being some chill guy who joins the Gang is always a welcome take. Like seriously if he was not originally made to be a foil for Eli(even if it was poorly executed) It dose not change the fact for a moment, the guy had actual chemistry they gelled with the teams dynamic. And given his lack of orphaning (now that's a phrase-) it probably means his trust issues in regards to authority, his own personal goals and down right self destructive tendencies are going to be greatly dimensioned. But you know, it's still kinda there given Slugterra's society and what not

Par for the course with him being able to clock something is off with the others and Lia seems to be in the know about it. I feel like I could cause him to lay out an ultimatum about him leaving the team or not weather they actually tell him the truth. Which would be it's own can of worms tbh.

If I was Tad and learned my dad was a Eco Terrorist, I too would want nothing to do with him.

All in all 10/10 set up and idea for these two. Tad and Twist are very fun characters who need some love and can be used in very interesting ways!

Thinking back to some early scenarios I played around this a long time ago, there are a number of things one could do.

You could go the SW Rebels Fulcrum route and have Tad be an anonymous leak or something, and have them meet at a critical moment.

You could go a dramatic route, and do something really intense between Light Well and Back to Blakk, where there is a 'rumor' that someone knew took over Blakk Industries in the time Blakk was being held captive by the Shadow Clan, and the have Tad show in in Back to Blakk with Blakk thinking his son is going to help him, only for Tad to say he is going to destroy everything Blakk built. which in terns makes his introduction to the Gang a real impactful one. [This was actually an old key plot point for my OC Lilith when she was still Blakk's kid lmao, it's been scrapped obviously but I still really like it, and have used it as inspo for future events in the Man-Down AU, but it's very different given the context]

Then theres just, randomly running into each other while on a supply run or something-

Heck, you could have Tad and the Gang running into each other while trying to sabotage the same McGuffin location/tech

honesty the last two could also apply to Twist and how he ends up meeting the Gang unless you wanna stick to The New Kid story line but drop the betrayal or have Twist be a Double Agent like Gent was-

like I said, many different ways things could play out

Anyhow, once more, GOOD SOUP! Don't feel pressured to work on something you aren't 100% committed to yet, don't be afraid to scrap or rework things you don't really like, and I hope my ramblings helped
