Fanfic or Original? Title?
Would one day like to write an Original piece, but Fanfic always has my heart. Right now it's: "Kryta Confidential" (and hopefully nothing else. No new stories! I need to focus)
First two sentences of your current project
Wind snaked through the alleyways, pipes howled, and the cracks in the mortar hissed before bellowing into the streets, kicking around leaves and debris like unpleasant specters. The weather had taken a turn.
Most recently written sentence of your project
It was a lot easier to get things done when you only have to ask for forgiveness, instead of permission.
Favorite line(s) in your current project
It was hard to tell people that without a body to contain it, everything you are would simply spread. A soul is not a solid thing. Without magic to hold a form, you are no more than vapor in the Mists, dissipating in the wind.
How close is your project to the end?
With the whole story, I have maybe...5 more chapters planned. With this chapter tho?.... I don't really know. Things are really ramping up, and practicing "kill your darlings" has never been harder. I'd say I was maybe at 60% now.

Tbh it's been a while since I wrote anything, but here's the lastest fanfic:
I does not have a title yet. I have been referring to it as either Kasjory 3 or the Kasjory Desert Roadtrip from Hell because it is a missing scenes fic of their adventures tracking Kralkatorrik in Elona and patching up their relationship after Balthazar xD

"Despite twenty-nine years, many travels, and more dragon minions than anyone should have had to fight in their lives, Marjory Delaqua had never actually seen the Dragonbrand. It turned out she would have preferred the Underworld."

"Not since she’d fallen for this woman."

"Instead, Kas did what she always seemed to do – she closed her eyes and let it go. Swept it under the rug again. Her face slackened and she breathed out slow, as if anger was as easy to expel as water vapor. Maybe it was, for her. For Marjory it sat like a dead thing under her sternum, rotting away until it poisoned her blood."
How close to the end?
Not close, lol. I don't even know how many chapters it's gonna be but I only have the one. I have an outline but I haven't touched it in a hot minute.

You are the keeper of a haunted forest, bound to it forever, but the ghosts keep you company at least. So when exorcists come to 'purify' the forest... you fight back.
Okay, hear me out... Canon adjacent AU
Kasmeer's family has left Divinity's Reach for a "vacation" and to secretly avoid a scandal. Bored, lonely, and trapped in their "vacation home", she's allowed to wander around as long as she doesn't go into the haunted woods nearby, where there are stories of a "witch" that lives there. Like any rational person, she thinks it's just a story and goes anyway. Oops, there are bandits in the woods too. Also turns out the woods ARE haunted, and the witch IS real and saves her because, reasons.
The witch is an exiled, emotionally closed-off Marjory who wants nothing more than for people to leave her and her forest alone. Kasmeer, who has never known a stranger, is determined to befriend her because "she can't be all bad. She rescued me" and she can see how terribly lonely she is, even if Marjory refuses to admit it. Maybe Marjory's ghost buddies like Kasmeer and keep pushing them together, because, comedy.
Slow burn, romance ensues. End Post.
