Maybe, it is just me, but I felt a tiny bit of potential romance going on
See, the thing about "theory crafting", as it's colloquially understood, is that I'd rather light myself on fire than be forced to read a redditor's "theories" or otherwise witness it's general community and vibes.
Annoyingly, that does mean I missed some cool fucking stuff, like the potential connection between Kryptis and Sylvari, by not frequenting a decently active gw2 space. =/
(In my defense, I was also extremely bored by the end of SotO, and Janthir for that matter and (other than maaaaybe the first two maps of SotO), it all sort of blended together into a mush of apparently gw1 related lore dumps that hooked zero percent of my interest. I was absolutely skimming and trudging through those expansions just for the sake of finishing them. u_u)
