happy disability pride month! medical misogyny (and age-based discrimination) is real and it starts in the home. if something feels uncomfortable and wrong, don’t let family members convince you those symptoms are not worth diagnosing or treating. your body has a built-in warning system for a reason! the disabilities my sister and i have now were once easily treatable injuries, but because we were “little girls” we were immediately written off as being “over-dramatic”.

For christmas my mom got my dog a tmnt raph chewtoy because she thought it be funny since she got me a raph plush, my dog however is evil and destroys any toy you give her, this visual of the raph toy torn to shreds was really funny to me and i had been wanting to change my pintrest username to something related to a character cause it had been just basically my irl name for a while so i made it The Torn Up Remains Of My Dogs Raphael Chew Toy, when i switched to tumblr i needed to shorten it so it got cut down to dead-rapheal-dog-toy.
