More artist rambles below, y'all know me, I'm a yapper XD

1. Oingo Boingo would not emotionally approve of that.

2. Why can't I have it? It's mine after all! (They wouldn't give me my appendix after surgery, but they did give me a picture of my internal organs so that was nice)

I happen to love drawing Victor Gideon, y'all know me, ya see my doodles from time to time. And I also happen to draw him a bit more risqué on occasions, always within my respected boundaries and platform guidelines.

I don't know why this has been happening so much lately, but I'm putting out the notice because Hells Bells! Etiquette and manners is a lost art apparently!!

Ya can gush, blush, and even throw a saucy comment when the environment calls for it. The key thing here is consent and respect. Mild things like saying "ooh la la~" or "I want that man~" is fine, make a dick joke or even 2, that all groovy.

BUT!!! What I am not okay with are the reoccurring comments/interaction that forget I am the artist. My work is not just pictures to scrapbooked at a whim as if I didn't make it. I don't appreciate or reciprocate comments/tags/reblogs on MY art that VIVIDLY describe a real individuals (non con or boundary pushing) desires towards this character, or ANY character that I happen to draw.

The problem isn't an individual being into that, or seeing a character in that light. There is art and fanfics for that, something one chooses to consume and engage with.

The problem is my work isn't the space for those comments, when it not only cuts me as the artist out of the image, but I myself am not okay with those things being projected on to my art without my EXPLICIT CONSENT!

Christ folks, this genuinely upsets me. I don't want to read that you want to 🍇 him or anyone else.

Victor Gideon doesn't read these comments.

All while out of a job, chronically ill, medical debt on my neck and looking to make a career out of my art.
